Pan Seared Pork Chops with Creamy Herbed Gravy


  • 8 - 6 oz pork chops
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons herb de provence
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream


Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Rub Pork chops with oil then sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika and granulated garlic. Sear each chop for 3-4 minutes on each side and remove from the skillet and hold in a very low oven (150-170 degrees). Add cream and reduce mixture by half. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste if needed. Serve over pork chops.
